Fr. Mark Invites Everyone to Join Fr. Mike for “The Bible in a Year”! The Year 2025 is a Holy Year, and so it is good year to read the Holy Bible! In Rome, the “Holy Door” will be open for pilgrims who arrive to celebrate the “Jubilee of Hope”. Here in our parish, we will celebrate it by opening our Bibles and entering into a great adventure called “The Bible in a Year.” You don’t need to travel anywhere to join us on this adventure: it can be found on your phone and in your Bible! And you will not be alone! Each day for 365 days you will hear Fr. Michael Schmitz read parts of the Bible and explain it to you. Listening to his podcast will take about twenty minutes a day. You will also receive explanations from me, Fr. Mark Wagner. As pastor, I will try to accompany my ﬂock on this journey through the Bible, by providing my reﬂections on weekly handouts and additional resources, which will be available online or at Sunday Masses. If you prefer to meet in person, you may also wish to join a weekly Bible Study group to discuss what you are learning. Fr. Mark will lead a group every Monday at 7:00 PM. You can also choose to form your own discussion group with friends, neighbors, or members of your family or ministry group. You can meet in a parish room, in your living room, or in an online chat room!
